Void's "Void Submersion" Update: 2-16-2020


Pretty decent sized update this time; almost lost the project but I got it back and there's some new big changes I've been cooking up. Unfortunately because I had to revert project versions, I've gone a couple more steps back than I'd have liked and I'm going to have to clean up a lot of stuff going forward but I wanted to get this out to show off a better focus for combat since it'd been lacking.

Void Submersion Mechanic: Generate Void Submersion meter over time and from dealing damage to gain increasing buffs, but beware; gain too much and you'll go into a high-risk high-reward mode where health rapidly drains but damage dealt heals you, and the buffs reach their highest level. Spend meter to deploy a wide AoE burst attack as well with the revised block button. Eating, Sleeping, Drinking, and using 'Health Cubes' empty out your Void Submersion meter. Expect more from this mechanic in future updates; Level 2 will be influenced by this a lot as I clean up combat.

Double Jump: I think this wasn't in the previous versions? Regardless there's a double jump now because it feels good. Isn't immediately game breaking. 

Revised Camera: I've wrangled the camera system closer to what I want it to be. It still needs some further revision, but it's better.
